ABOUT

MISSION AND HISTORY
Wise Girlz Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Well-Informed Sisters Empowerment is our guiding proverb! Our mission is to empower girls, women, and families in California through learning, quality of life improvements, personal and spiritual development, and community service.
We serve our communities through programs such as:
-
Hunger relief via our “Happy Full” initiative, distributing grocery gift cards to families in need
-
Learning and skill-building opportunities, including externships, volunteerism, and housing/job resources
-
Quarterly and annual empowerment sessions for young women, offering guidance, mentorship, and special recognition for students
Our mission began focused on young women ages 18–30 (though not limited to this group), with the goal of encouraging, inspiring, and enlightening them through the wisdom of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Proverbs 9:9 guides our work: “Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser; teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.”

Following empowerment sessions, participants are called to action through seasonal community outreach programs, providing charitable services such as feminine hygiene and basic needs relief. We collaborate with local businesses, nonprofits, churches/ministries, and other venues in California to make resources accessible to girls, women, and families.

History: Wise Girlz Inc. was founded by Pebbles 'Yolanda' Gordon-Brewer, with the first gathering held on June 5, 2015. This marked the beginning of our efforts in learning, personal and spiritual development, and community engagement.

Wise Girlz Inc. is officially established in California, New York, Georgia, and Connecticut with a growing reach across communities in need.
